Unser Lichtfries am Neubau des Kunstmuseums Basel wird beim Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2016 als Best of the Best in der Kategorie 'Spatial Communication' ausgezeichnet. Die Jury schreibt:

'The light frieze media facade of the Kunstmuseum Basel fascinates with poetic expression based on the sophisticated interplay of form, architecture and light. Harmonising with the material of stone, the effect of constantly changing grey and white emerges as the daylight changes. The changing typographical message thus created lends the building high visual appeal.'

Dieses Jahr erhalten weniger als ein Prozent der eingereichten Arbeiten aus 46 Ländern die Auszeichnung Red Dot: Best of the Best. Die Preisverleihung findet am 4. November 2016 in Berlin statt.
