King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture - Arabian Journeys

iart has won the international competition for a large-scale project and is now commissioned with the development and production of all audiovisual and interactive media and software productions for 'Arabian Journeys' — an exhibition of the natural and cultural history of Saudi Arabia at King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture. Thanks to the broad expertise and experience in the field of 'Museum Media', iart was able to offer comprehensive solutions in all relevant areas and fully convince the client.

Under the creative leadership of the scenographers Atelier Brückner in Stuttgart iart acts as creative partner for all media aspects of the exhibition. For large-scale film productions iart commissioned the company Tamschick Media+Space in Berlin. Previously, iart worked in the same constellation for the exhibition 'Universe of Particles' at the CERN research center.

Projects of this size and complexity demand flexible and clear structures to support creative processes while maintaining high efficiency. As a basis for this, iart uses an agile development framework that has already proven efficient in a number of projects. To be successful in an international competition, advanced risk management and an innovative history of results are needed. The latter is guaranteed at iart by the internal know-how, interdisciplinary work and investment in research and development.

With this basis, iart has managed to strike the role as general contractor for media in several international projects in recent years and reliably deliver turnkey solutions, e.g. for the Swiss pavilion at the Expo 2005 in Aichi, and the Expo 2010 in Shanghai, for the exhibition of the Capital of Culture Luxembourg 2007, and the CERN exhibition 2010 mentioned above.
