WE BELIEVE IN SUSTAINABILITY
iart has joined the innovative Swiss Triple Impact movement - and we are delighted! Because we believe not only in technical innovation, but also that companies, together with others, can take responsibility for social and environmental challenges. Swiss Triple Impact brings together companies that are committed to sustainable development and pursue a clear goal: to create a significant positive impact on society and the environment.
More about Swiss Triple Impact
Swiss Triple Impact is a program of B Lab Switzerland that accompanies companies on their way to a more sustainable economy. It is based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations - global goals such as climate protection, health, responsible production and gender equality. The aim is to get companies to make concrete, verifiable commitments that go beyond what is required by law. In an intensive internal process, we worked with the STI to define four impact targets that we want to achieve by 2030.
Our First Goal: CO2 Reduction!
By 2030, we will reduce our Scope 1 and 2 emissions to net zero, in line with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).

Our Second Goal: Energy Self-Generating Media Facades
By 2030, 50% of our new media façades will be energy self-sufficient or integrated into sustainable energy systems, compared to 10% in 2025.

Our Third Goal: Responsible Sourcing of Services and Goods
By 2030, 80% of our main suppliers, measured by purchasing volume, meet our criteria for responsible sourcing, including requirements for sustainability, circular economy and reparability.

Our Fourth Goal: Further Improving Our Employees' Health
By 2030, we will contribute to improving employee health by reducing stress in the workplace, as measured by a regular job stress analysis, and achieving a job stress index below 40%.

We are looking forward to the challenges ahead and will put our heart and soul into successfully implementing our defined goals. In this way, we not only want to set a good example, but also offer our customers real added value and work together to create sustainable solutions for the future.

"It takes courage and, above all, a lot of inventive skill to develop sustainable, climate-friendly and community-promoting solutions in our industry. We do have all of that!
As an STI Directory Leader, we are taking our responsibility to heart.”
Valentin Spiess, Founder President of the Board of Directors, Innovator

"Our customers have a great need for tailor-made solutions and ‘magical moments’ in the field of visitor experiences. We have specialized in this. At the same time, it is a given for us to develop resource-saving installations. The fact that we have been able to offer both for years is now also publicly visible with our inclusion in the Swiss Triple Impact List.”
Anna Pfeiffer, Head Project Development Visitor Experiences

"New sustainability issues arise at every step of the project work. Thanks to our agile process model, we can respond to these new requirements and develop and implement sustainable solutions together with our customers."
Daniel Lüthi, Senior Project Manager Visitor Experiences

"The future belongs to energy self-sufficient media façades. We started launching this topic years ago and were able to implement the world's first zero-energy media façade. Sustainability is one of our key focuses of innovation. We are currently working in our lab on an innovation project for a façade that not only produces the electricity required for media content, but can also sustainably improve the quality of life in urban centers thanks to an integrated layer of moss and clever shading elements."
Steffen Blunk, Head Project Development Media Facades

“I think it's cool that at iart I not only learn to design surprising and moving media installations, but also experience sustainability as an exciting creative task.”
Mara Dobbelfeld, Interactive Media Designer in Formation

"We face significant challenges in achieving our STI goals. As a game changer, iart wants to positively influence the supply chains of IT and AV equipment and thus help to ensure that the production and transportation of these goods can be carried out in a way that protects people and the climate. For years now, we have made sure that the devices we use are repairable and that the individual parts are recyclable. We will continue along this path."
Ivan Hörler, Senior AV-Solution Architect

“I have been privately committed to tackling food waste for a long time and am delighted that iart has committed to this approach. My work focuses on our employees and their well-being.”
