Swiss Museum of Transport

«Matrix-Photobooth» in the Exhibition «Media World»

  • Photo Booth with 36 cameras arranged in a circle
  • Coordinated operation of 3 client PCs via central server PC
  • 3 client PCs connected to 12 cameras each
  • Intermediate storage of images by client PCs
  • Server PC processes all captured images into short video clips
  • The Media World app allows users to edit, add to and send videos

MegaFaces Pavillon

3d Photobooth for Display on Media Facade

  • Photo booths take portrait shots from 5 angles
  • 3D model of the face is calculated
  • Optimisation of the facial model using algorithm
  • Calculation of the positioning data for a total of 11,000 actuators
  • Display of face with 3500% magnification (8m height)
  • Visitors are notified by SMS and on screens when their portrait appears
