From the very first projects like Wenn ein Haus träumt, dann schläft es nicht and stadtlicht, to MegaFaces in Sotchi and the Light Frieze for the Kunstmuseum Basel: iart has realized media installations on buildings since its beginning. A one-day workshop with Valentin Spiess gave students from the Academy of Art and Design FHNW the opportunity to reflect on the developments in this field of practice. The students additionally outlined ideas for a media wall at the Campus of the Arts at Dreispitz, Basel, which would be able to anticipate the moving gaze from passing cars and trams. We are excited to follow the future developments.
