On 5 November 2014, iart was awarded with the Swiss ICT Award 2014 for the project MegaFaces. We are very happy and proud that our innovative capacity and engineering expertise were honoured with the Swiss "Oscar of the ICT industry".

MegaFaces is a project that required much courage both on part of the client and on our part. This award demonstrates that in order to develop innovative products and brand experiences, it is worth taking risks.

The jury stated:
'The jury of the Swiss ICT Award would like to highlight the complexity of the entire installation and stress the innovations it contains. In addition, the jury is impressed by the interdisciplinary solution connecting the software and hardware that was engineered and realised by iart down to the smallest detail. Beside the first 3D actuated large-scale LED screen, custom-developed 3D photo booths and software components were used, which have not been available in this form on the market. Thus, in the eyes of the jury of the Swiss ICT Award, iart is an outstanding example for what Swiss IT can be and makes possible.'
