Umwelt Arena

The Umwelt Arena (Environment Arena) is an exhibition platform dedicated to topic of sustainability in the areas of nature and life, energy and mobility, construction and modernisation, and renewable energy. Being a major partner, the Swiss supermarket Coop is featured with an exhibition about sustainability in retail. tegoro solutions (since 2013 part of iart) was in charge of the conception, hardware and software installation of the media stations in the exhibition.

Three walk-in boxes present the product lines Pro Montagna, Naturaplan and Naturaline, each focusing on the topic of sustainability. The media stations are made up of different elements: media steles displaying the narrator Mr. Grünenfelder in life-size, spatial sound inside the boxes, audio stations, and monitors in different sizes. Two media stations are activated by motion detectors. The media, the props, and the exhibits enable visitors to move beyond being a mostly unsuspecting client to becoming an informed consumer.
