An interactive light and sound installation just opened at the heart of Mercks' Innovation Center in Darmstadt. A complex structure of OLED-lights is visually multiplied by mirrors covering walls and ceiling. Brightness and light patterns as well as the acoustic ambiance react in many variants to the physical presence of visitors. The light and sound installation reacts like a living being filling the space with ever different behavior. After the Universe of Particles at CERN and the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture the project is another successful collaboration of Tamschick Media+Space and iart. At the center of iarts' involvement stood the ambitious development and realisation of the OLED installation.
