Together with the House of Electronic Arts and the Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW, iart is launching a new festival for art and technology! Mesh will take place for the first time from 17 - 20 October 2024 on the Dreispitz in Basel and Münchenstein.

The festival invites the general public to experience current technological developments through spectacular artistic productions. It focusses on the collaboration between artists and technologists, thus revealing how new technological developments influence society.

The first edition of Mesh titled "Tooling the Future" will delve into the realm of new and different tools for a friendly future. Over four days, the festival offers a series of events, including exhibitions, immersive installations in public spaces, audiovisual performances, a conference and an extensive educational programme.
