Aiming to spark the interest of teenagers for the field of IT and related studies, the i-factory was established by the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne in 2009. iart planned and realised the various media installations in cooperation with Melt (formerly SchmauderRohr). For the newly opened extension, iart executed the media for the stations of the Swiss Post and IT-dreamjobs as well as the technical connection to the existing exhibition.

The new media stations of the Swiss Post, UBS and IT-dreamjobs expand the playful success story and help to convey the usage of IT in their respective environments. At the Swiss Post installation, postcards can be created, printed and sent, while the UBS' station presents software development as an abstract puzzle. Finally, IT-dreamjobs offers information about different IT-related jobs and study programmes.
