The ‘Inner Power’ installation invites visitors on a sensory journey and celebrates the new Hyundai Genesis Magma.
Multi-sensory Experience
Walk barefoot over warm pebbles and organic floor textures and step by step approach the inside of a large spiral, surrounded by glowing lava flows: this is the sensory journey that visitors embark on if they enter the ‘Inner Power’ installation celebrating the power and energy of the new Hyundai Genesis Magma.
In Short
- System control ensures automated operation
- 2 projectors cast the images of the moving lava flows onto free-hanging mesh
- 150m of LED strips on the sides of the spiral path
- 8 wireless headphones are fed with breathtaking sound via Auracast audio system
Spatial Context
The installation is complemented by other media elements. For example, a mosaic of 12 screens of different sizes, which altogether show one film of moving lava flows. And a walk-on LED screen that stretches across the floor, wall and ceiling and shows the same film.
Creative Collaboration
The installation is the product of an exciting collaboration between the Korean art collective OMA Space, iart and kpm3. Together, we quickly realised a multi-sensory experience that starts and ends fully automatically every day during the exhibition.
