Open Position: Project Manager (Prototypes)

The 80-100% position is available immediately or by appointment. The position is initially limited to nine month, with an option to extend depending on the progress of the project.

Your responsibility:

Together with an interdisciplinary team, you will develop, design and support an international project in the field of media architecture. As a product owner, you are the contact person for the customer and ensure that project development and implementation meet the customer’s needs. Together with the team, customers and partners, you develop a prototype for a media installation and communicate internally and externally by means of requirement catalogs and briefings. You evaluate concepts, technical solutions, design implementations and cost calculations. You prepare offers and schedules, control project budgets, coordinate specialist planners and interfaces. You also assess and check the planning. You coordinate the production on site.

You bring with you:

  • Experience as a project manager in the field of engineering (microelectronics)
  • Completed civil engineering degree or equivalent knowledge through basic technical or trade trainining
  • Sound knowledge of project management, ideally with agile methods and enjoyment of digitalization topics
  • A flair for technology
  • Quick perception and willingness to provide open feedback
  • Creative, fresh thinking while working in a structured, methodical manner
  • Enjoy presenting ideas and have the ability to get others excited about project visions
  • Ability to work in a team, sense of humore, above-average commitment and resilience
  • Very good knowledge of English and German at B1 level
  • Willingnessness to travel internationally
